Don
Rooks has been in the ministry for 30 years, seven in youth
ministry, 23 as pastor. Most recently he served as the pastor of the
Bible Baptist Church in Galveston, Texas for seven years. Don
received his BA from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri,
and his Masters Degree in Psychology from Louisiana Baptist
University in Shreveport, Louisiana. Don is a charter member of the
American Association of Christian Counselors.
Sheryl Rooks, with her experience as a pastor’s wife, has an
"insiders" perspective on ministry and as a result has a special
love and concern for ministering families. Sheryl has a unique gift,
and has been told by many that she is very perceptive in
distinguishing and discerning problems. With a BA and MA in
Psychology from Louisiana Baptist University in Shreveport, she is a
very able partner in this ministry.
