After only a few years in the pastoral
ministry, Don & Sheryl become disillusioned with ministry, the
church, and their own marriage. Don & Sheryl began a painful journey
that would change their lives. Through their own experiences and
pain, they discovered deep truths about God’s amazing mercy and
grace, forgiveness, and love. They learned to love each other more
deeply, learned to love themselves, and love others the way God
intended!
The Rooks have been involved with the Restoration Ministry and SITM
(Stress In The Ministry) since their inception 12 years ago. During
the past four years, the Rooks have traveled to other countries to
share their experience and expertise by conducting marriage and
pastoral retreats.
Connecting Point Ministries is available on a love-offering basis
plus travel expenses for retreats with emphasis on pastors and
staff, workshops, and church and family counseling.
